| Welcome to The Festival of Bliss |
| |
|
 |
We sincerely regret to announce that the Festival of Bliss
has been cancelled.
Club Liberty applied for and received a Temporary Event Notice
(Temporary Licence) for the Festival of Bliss week-end. However
the Sussex Police decided TODAY to present
the club with a closure order for the week-end.
We are of course extremely disappointed and unfortunately
one of the biggest losers is the Charity www.wellbeingofwomen.org
as we expected to raise at least £2,500 over the
week-end from ticket sales, donations and the prize draw.
|
We sincerely apologise to all the exhibitors and entertainers
who have put so much time and effort into making this event
very special and who have incurred thousands of pounds in costs.
We realise that many are already in the local area, staying
in hotels in Scaynes Hill and Haywards Heath ready to set up
in the morning and we are very distressed that we were unable
to give them any notice of the cancellation.
We also apologise to all the people who booked and pre-paid
to attend the Festival of Bliss, many of whom are also staying
in local hotels tonight. We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience
you have been caused.
The Festival of Bliss will refund deposits paid by exhibitors
and advance ticket payments made by people attending the events.
Please email caroline@festivalofbliss
or telephone Ava on 01444 831675 after 12 noon on Monday 19th
June. |
